Marine Geography: GIS for the Oceans and Seas is a wide-ranging collection of current works from researchers and professionals in the field of marine GIS. The various chapters highlight the methods currently in use by the global marine GIS community, and the book as a whole documents their challenges and triumphs.

About the Editor:
Joe Breman completed his master's degree at the University of Haifa, Israel, in marine studies. He served as vice president on the board of directors of the Society for Conservation GIS (SCGIS) and has led many marine-related initiatives at ESRI. He currently is a member of ESRI's Educational Services technical support staff.
